Applicants for summer positions must be prepared to give a minimum of 20 hours per week for a period of at least 8 weeks during the summer. As part of the internship and the opportunity to learn from a variety of global experts, ideal intern candidates will be available to attend and work with Council staff at evening events per month scheduled in advance and will count toward internship hours. High performing Fall Interns may be selected to apply for a Spring Internship, upon which they will receive pay in the form of a stipend.

Due to high demand and limited availability, all internships are available on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis. Interns will work closely with Council staff in at least one of the following international departments:.

Applicants are accepted for summer positions based upon their qualifications and their willingness to commit to a minimum of no less than eight weeks. Applicants are accepted for fall and spring positions based upon their qualifications and their willingness to commit at least one semester. Paid internships require both a fall and spring semester commitment, and are available by invitation only to a select few who have demonstrated high performance after their first semester completed with the Council.
