Pulled my kids straight out of Evangel Classical Christian School as soon as possible and when they began at Thompson, they were so much happier. Grades were great, they were getting involved extra curricular activities, started figuring out who they were instead of teachers telling them who to be like at ECCS , had a healthy social life, just all around fantastic.

Resident 1y ago. Good, clear and clean walkways. Nice shrubberies. Pretty houses. Sports are very popular. Band program is good. We are well patrolled by the police. Like every city, some neighborhoods are better kept than others. But police and other first responders are awesome. But we have big box stores and a theater as well.

As for the staff, i feel at ease with everyone except the highest members, such as the VP, AP, and a few other figures who seem to take on an authoritarian role and make some students fear going to them for anything they need.

Student Review 8y ago. Bernheim Middle School. I disagree with all the negative reviews on this school. Now, the school is the best school I have ever been there.

I have made lots of friends. I love my teachers and all my fellow students. There are no drugs or bullying in my grade. The teachers try their best to make learning fun. Granted, there are a few strict teachers. You find them everywhere though. Bernheim works hard to make their students great.

Our test scores have greatly improved. My parents also love the school. Te staff listens to parents and respects their ideas. I am personally proud to be a Bruin! I am in seventh grade. Other Review 8y ago.
