Sat before bartender asked us about drinks. Server was attentive and had a good knowledge of menu. Got a martini which has very icy but ok. Wedge salad came and was just ok.
Lamb shank was good but a little dry. Steak had to be sent back as it was blu but ordered medium. Mash potatoes tasted like instant and watery. This seems crazy to me. The Atmosphere is great. But wow I was so unimpressed with quality of food. It did come fast. I really wanted to enjoy it but sad the costs are very high for quality. We love the Woodman. We always make a reservation which makes things so easy.
This time, they had our favorite bottle of wine sitting at the table for us when we arrived. Great food, great service. Nestled in the heart of ol' Snoqualmie town is a wonderful steak house. Definitely a restaurant to add to your must go to list.
We live in the area and have been to Woodman lodge many times. However, last time we were there was incredibly disappointing. It was a great meal with great service. Always love coming back to the Woodman. Outstanding meal and service. Expensive but overall a great experience. This place is a gem. Never knew it was tucked away there. Very happy we chose to eat here. We will be back. One of the better steaks I have had on the Eastside. I have eaten at the woodman several times and continues to deliver.
They have great food and service was excellent. It was New Year's Even, not really a to dine out, and the experience overall was not totally negative. The service was excellent, but the food was mediocre. My steak was tough, grisly and fat without much taste. My wife's pork chop was alright, but when it came, her meal didn't include the potato selection she ordered. I wouldn't tell anyone not to go there, but we probably won't go back for dinner.
One of these days, though, we will most likely try their lunch. The food rating I gave was based on the fact that one of the two steaks ordered was under cooked to the rare side and ordered to be medium. The Lamb shank was salty. The noise level was high but it was New Years Eve and not an issue for us. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant. Dinner was amazing. Good wine. Great service.
Highly recommend. We always enjoy our meal and our experience at Woodman Lodge. Great food! Love the ambience! Wonderful, just what we wanted. Only disappointment was the on line menu and the actual menu we not the same, they no longer have mussels which was what my husband was wanting Delicious meal that was worth the wait from the kitchen.
I had the chicken with wild rice soup as my starter and the sea bass, while my wife had the wedge salad and a steak. Everything was delicious!
Service was also good, although the place wasn't terribly busy when we were there, which helped. Create account with Facebook. Create account with Google. Password must be a minimum of 6 characters. Create Account Already have an account?
